Job summary

Leidos is seeking a SharePoint Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support a large enterprise IT contract for the DoD. The role covers deploying, operating, and maintaining SharePoint services across multiple data centers, with emphasis on security, troubleshooting, and customer-focused support.

The candidate will manage site collections, O365/M365 access, and perform migrations to SharePoint Online, SPSE, or 2019, while coordinating with ICAM technologies and other identity services.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with SharePoint technologies to include SharePoint 2016, 2019, SPSE and SharePoint Online.
• Experience configuring, installing, and securing SharePoint systems.
• Familiarity with managing SQL clusters in support of SharePoint farms.
• Experience with patch maintenance for SQL clusters and SharePoint farms.
• Experience with PKI authentication and claims-based authentication.
• Experience with load balancers such as F5 BigIP or Citrix NetScaler.
• Experience managing M365/O365 cloud offerings.
• Experience with ITSM ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with site/collection owners to handle service inquiries.
• Provide implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Distinguish between local and enterprise-wide problems and resolve them.
• Develop solutions and update SOPs to reflect changes.
• Oversee SharePoint projects including upgrades and migrations.
• Identify methods for integration with ICAM technologies.
• Assist users with migrations to SharePoint 2019, Subscription Edition, or Online.
• Manage permissions of site collections and associated items.
• Manage access to O365/M365 apps (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online).
• Conduct data purges for cyber security, legal, FOIA needs.
• Maintain asset library, risk database, and calendar for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with customers to collect data and implement solutions.
• Provide follow-up reports and AARs for root cause analysis.
• Maintain monitoring with SolarWinds/PowerShell and other tools.
• Support 24/7/365 mission environment.
• Update 24/7 SOC documentation for after-hours triage.
