Job summary

UCFS Healthcare is seeking a Program Aide and Van Driver - Per Diem to assist seniors with activities and transportation at the Adult Day Center. Responsibilities include leading activities, helping with personal care, and ensuring safety.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Requires High School diploma and 2 years experience with seniors; van license eligibility and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience working with or supporting seniors.
• Must be eligible for Public Service License to operate passenger van.
• HHA/CNA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in program activities for seniors (exercise, crafts, games).
• Ensure client participation and safety.
• Provide van transportation for Adult Day Center clients.
• Assist with personal care needs (transfers, toileting, dressing, showering).
• Demonstrate quality customer service and respectful communication.
• Maintain professional conduct with coworkers, clients, and visitors.
