Job summary

United Community & Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Program Aide and Van Driver to assist groups of seniors with activities and provide personal care, plus transportation for the Adult Day Center clients.

The role requires a valid Public Service License eligibility and a focus on safety, dignity, and compassionate care. The position is full-time (35 hours/week), with a Monday–Friday schedule and day-to-day responsibilities that include guiding activities, ensuring participation, and

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent required.
2 years of experience working with or supporting seniors.
Eligible for Public Service License to operate a passenger van.
HHA/CNA certificate preferred.
Fluency in English required.

Responsibilities

Leads and participates in program activities at the center (exercise, arts & crafts, games, etc.).
Ensures client participation and safety.
Provides van transportation for Adult Day Center clients per policy.
Assists with personal care needs (transfers, toileting, dressing, showering).
Demonstrates respectful communication and teamwork in daily operations.
