Job summary

Housing Opportunities Commission in Montgomery County is seeking a Senior Services Supervisor to lead a team of Senior Services Specialists and Senior Nutrition Aides within the Resident Services division.

The role requires at least seven years of social services leadership, a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and a track record of program development and collaboration with partners. This is a hybrid position with remote options after the 6-month probation period.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of substantial experience in social work, social services, human services, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Sociology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise nine Senior Services Specialists and three Senior Nutrition Aides.
• Oversee staff performance and provide guidance to excel in their roles.
• Conduct site visits and support staff with best practices for serving older adults.
• Perform administrative duties such as timecard approvals and evaluations.
