Job summary

SAN-Juan-County, NM is seeking a Senior Services Aide to support the senior center with clerical tasks, meal prep, serving, and home-delivery duties. You will assist in safe transportation of seniors and ensure accurate cash handling and donations balancing.

Under supervision, you will use the county ERP system, help with data entry, logging, and reports while maintaining a neat work area and adhering to food handling and safety regulations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; six months office experience and six months knowledge of food handling preferred.
Experience with and relating to senior citizens is preferred.
Must have NM Food Handler’s permit or obtain within 60 days of employment.
Valid NM Driver's license or obtain within six months; good driving history preferred.
CPR certification with First Aid training required; valid.

Responsibilities

Support the senior center with clerical tasks and meal preparation and serving.
Assist with home delivery of meals and safe transport of seniors.
Collect, log, and balance donations to ensure cash handling compliance.
Assist with data entry and reports; keep area neat and organized.
Operate county ERP system and perform related duties as directed.
Ensure safety in kitchen and dining areas; follow sanitation regulations.
