Santa Fe County in New Mexico is seeking a dedicated kitchen worker to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for senior citizens. You will ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and inventory management while supporting catering for special events and sack lunches as scheduled.

The role emphasizes adherence to health guidelines, effective communication with staff and patrons, and flexibility to work in a busy county kitchen environment. A focus on safety and quality is essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma, GED or NCRC.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 3 months of hire.
• Food Handler’s certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals and snacks.
• Preserve raw and prepared foods following health guidelines.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas and equipment.
• Plan daily menu, record meals served, and manage inventories.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and kitchen resources.
• Unload and stock bulk food for senior meal sites.
• Provide catering and sack lunches for events.
