Job summary

North Shore Community Development Coalition (NSCDC) is seeking a self-motivated Resident Services Coordinator to support seniors with care and resources at the NSCDC property. This part-time, hourly role requires managing a caseload with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

You will provide outreach, resource development, education and community-building support to residents, coordinating with property staff and community agencies to connect people with needed services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years counseling, recreational therapy, or crisis intervention with seniors.
• Daily access to an automobile and a valid MA State Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive understanding of residents through intakes, needs assessments and goal setting.
• Serve as a liaison to community agencies and maintain partnerships.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of community resources for residents.
• Provide residents with appropriate resources and referrals.
• Coordinate community events and programming with property staff.
• Work with residents to identify and address problems before they reach crisis level.
• Collaborate with the site team to meet property needs and resolve resident issues.
• Plan recreational, cultural, and social activities with operations staff and residents.
