Job summary

Tohono O'odham Nation in Sells, AZ, seeks a coordinator to plan, organize, provide and deliver geriatric activities for seniors in the senior services program. Under supervision, you will ensure safety, timely delivery of activities, and accurate reporting to support elder welfare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with four years' work experience with elders and activity coordination, or equivalent combination of training and work experience.
• Must possess a current Food Handler's certification.
• Must obtain CPR, AED and First Aid certifications within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly and monthly activity schedules for senior services.
• Prepare time sheets for NCOA enrollees.
• Prepare clear written reports from worker submissions.
• Ensure safety for all participants.
• Provide in-service education to staff for safe operation.
• Plan and coordinate all Elder activities at Senior Service Centers.
• Travel within the Nation to support programs.
