Phoenix Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Program and Outreach Director (Activities Assistant) to join their team. The role focuses on delivering resident-centered activities aligned with our wellness philosophy, ensuring emotional, social, physical, and mental well-being across our community.

Responsibilities include facilitating diverse activities, supporting memory care programming, and coordinating with care staff to promote meaningful engagement for residents.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma, and job related experience preferred in a senior living community.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers for involvement in social events.
• Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living and Dementia care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refer to the Resident Profile and addendum for every new resident.
• Assist with facilitating a variety of activities that incorporate all dimensions of wellness.
• Observe resident changes in condition and take appropriate action.
• Assist residents to and from activity rooms as needed.
• Support Life Skills and other enriching activities for memory care residents.
• Maintain activity areas in an orderly condition and document pertinent information.
