Job summary

HEITMEYER CONSULTING INC is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to lead design, development, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform in Columbus, OH. You will partner with business and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions, drive platform security and performance, and mentor junior staff while delivering enterprise reporting and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application development, ITSM, and ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration, development, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and support ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and improve processes, performance, and user experience.
• Manage platform security: users, groups, roles, relationships, and ACLs.
• Monitor performance, identify debt, and apply ServiceNow best practices.
• Develop and maintain enterprise reporting strategies and platform-wide reporting.
• Partner with technology and business teams to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and business partners.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and job aids.
• May lead technical projects and mentor less-experienced team members.
