Job summary

PSG Global Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Engineer to support enterprise development, platform engineering, and integrations for a large Columbus-based organization. This hands-on role requires independent work, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaboration with business and technical teams.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of ServiceNow experience, strong Java/JavaScript skills, and expertise in CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data governance, with upgrades and integrations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience in enterprise development.
• Experience planning, testing, and executing annual upgrades.
• Strong ServiceNow architecture, CMDB, Discovery, and data governance expertise.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, and UI customization.
• Hands-on REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub integrations.
• Independent worker with strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, test, and execute annual ServiceNow platform upgrades.
• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
• Manage and support CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data governance.
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.

• Participate in full development lifecycle from requirements to implementation.
• Analyze and resolve code and platform issues; document functionality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Serve as a technical expert and evaluate new technologies; work with minimal supervision.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to support enterprise ServiceNow development, platform engineering, integrations, and ongoing platform improvements for a large organization in Columbus, OH. This is a hands-on technical role for someone who can work independently, troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with technical and business teams, and serve as a technical expert on ServiceNow development projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, test, and execute annual ServiceNow platform upgrades.
• Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise ServiceNow solutions using platform best practices.
• Manage and support CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data governance.
• Develop integrations using REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow using JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI customization.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, testing, troubleshooting, and implementation.
• Analyze and resolve code and platform issues; maintain and document software functionality.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Serve as a technical expert, evaluate new technologies, and work independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience in enterprise development and platform support.
• Proven experience planning, testing, and executing annual ServiceNow upgrades.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow architecture, development best practices, CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data governance.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI customization.
• Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, and Integration Hub integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently across the full development lifecycle.

Preferred

• Experience supporting or migrating between on-premises and cloud ServiceNow environments.
• Experience with additional programming/scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, or C++.

NOTE

Job Type

Contract – 3 Months, with Potential Extension or Conversion.
