Job summary

Central Point Partners is seeking a ServiceNow Lead Platform Engineer in the Columbus area for a hybrid role (4 days onsite). The successful candidate will provide advanced support across ITSM/ITOM and drive platform improvements with a strong emphasis on security and reporting.

Requires 5+ years in ServiceNow development, ITSM experience, and solid OOP skills. This contract-to-hire position supports multiple locations nationwide and offers growth within a large client environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ additional years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ yrs of experience in application development plan, ITSM and Service Now.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve issues against ServiceNow applications
• Advise internal teams and lines of business regarding process and technology inefficiencies within the platform
• Perform routine maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification/ remediation
• Maintain and improve the overall stability of the platform ensuring best practices are identified and incorporated into the platform
• Experience with ServiceNow best practices and understand the best solutions to remediate technical debt in the Now platform
• Manage Instance Security, User/Group access, roles and associated relationships, and Access Control Lists (ACLs)
• Provide training and knowledge across the platform to our internal team and external business partners
• Develop reporting strategy and maintenance plan for platform wide reporting
• Strong knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming (OOP)

May serve as project leader for specific projects.

• Familiarity with the User Experience Tools, Service Intelligence, and Service Experiences
• Knowledge and Experience working with Web Services, REST, JSONv2
