Job summary

Bain Capital is seeking a technically skilled Senior ServiceNow Engineer to shape and advance an enterprise platform that supports ITSM and ITAM. Reporting to the Director, IT Support Operations, this role combines hands-on development, platform configuration, and workflow design across ITSM and ITAM.

The individual will work with IT and business stakeholders to deliver reliable workflows, integrations, reporting, and platform improvements.

Qualifications

3–5 years of ServiceNow development, administration, or platform engineering experience with ITSM/ITAM.
Experience with HAM/SAM asset workflows and related operational processes.
Strong knowledge of ServiceNow configuration and development including JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, UI policies, catalog items, data imports, and integrations.

Responsibilities

Own hands-on configuration, development, and enhancement of ServiceNow ITSM and ITAM capabilities.
Design and deliver maintainable ServiceNow solutions using Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, script includes, UI policies, and APIs.
Configure and improve catalogs, approvals, notifications, lifecycle processes, and workflow automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate needs into technical designs, test plans, and delivered platform improvements.
Build and support ServiceNow integrations via REST and SOAP APIs, data imports, authentication, and error handling.
Leverage platform data and adoption trends to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize work.
Help deploy ServiceNow native AI capabilities responsibly.
