Job summary

Cherokee Federal seeks a Software Engineer SME to maintain and extend the ServiceNow platform across multiple tenants. You will develop, test, and deploy updates, and customize workflows while collaborating with ServiceNow engineers to ensure reliable environments.

The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, 16+ years of relevant experience, and at least 5 years in ServiceNow development. Java, Ruby, DevOps, and DevSecOps experience are valued; CSA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• TS/SCI with polygraph
• 16+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s or master’s degree
• 5+ years developing ServiceNow products
• Experience with ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR, CSM, Asset Management, Change Management
• CSA certification preferred
• Experience with Java and Ruby; DevOps and DevSecOps practices

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the core ServiceNow platform for multiple tenants
• Develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow updates
• Configure and customize ServiceNow apps, UI, and workflows
• Collaborate with ServiceNow System Engineers and developers
• Identify deficiencies and propose solutions
• Ensure environments are reliable across Dev, Test, Integration, and Prod
• Participate in production support and end-user assistance
• Document testing procedures and maintenance activities
• Adopt new technologies to enhance platform capabilities
• Deliver enhanced functionality and support new implementations
