BCore in Chantilly, VA is seeking a SME ServiceNow Engineer to support a government customer on the Enterprise ServiceNow Platform. The role focuses on maintaining and expanding the ServiceNow instance, developing, testing, and deploying updates, and collaborating with System Engineers and developers to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• 16+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
• At least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, SPM, HR, CSM, Asset and Change Management.
• Experience with JavaScript and other coding languages.
• Familiarity with Oracle or MySQL databases.
• Ability to estimate work effort and manage deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in teams; adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the core ServiceNow platform to enhance tenant functionality.
• Develop, test, and deploy updates based on customer requirements.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow System Engineers and developers on solutions.
• Identify deficiencies and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure development and production environments are reliable and reproducible.
• Document testing and maintenance of system corrections.
• Research new technologies and develop enterprise-wide systems as needed.
• Plan system deployment and ensure compliance with software standards.
