Job summary

ASM Research, an Accenture Federal Services company, seeks a ServiceNow Engineer to provide advanced engineering, configuration, and integration support for the enterprise ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with product owners to implement upgrades and new capabilities while minimizing disruption to mission-critical services.

This engineer designs and maintains complex workflows, integrations, and data models that connect ServiceNow with other enterprise tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 8+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow environments.
• Experience configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules and building integrations with third‑party systems.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel 10-25% and obtain a secret clearance.
• Experience with upgrades and change management processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, SPM, SAM, SecOps and related enterprise applications, ensuring configurations follow platform and governance standards.
• Develop and maintain integrations using APIs, web services, and MID servers to connect ServiceNow with monitoring, identity, and business systems.
• Plan and execute platform upgrades, patches, and enhancements with regression testing, validation, and rollback planning.
• Configure and customize workflows, forms, dashboards, and data models to meet organizational requirements while maintaining performance, security, and supportability.
• Collaborate with security and compliance stakeholders to ensure configurations, integrations, and data handling comply with organizational policies and federal requirements.
• Apply scripting and automation to streamline administration, deployment, and maintenance tasks within ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues across application, integration, and infrastructure layers, performing root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Document solutions, configuration standards, and technical procedures to support knowledge transfer and audit readiness.
