Softthink Solutions is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions for federal clients. You will be a hands-on technical leader guiding development efforts, ensuring best practices, and delivering scalable, high-quality capabilities.

This execution-focused role emphasizes implementation, team guidance, and technical quality, rather than enterprise-wide architecture ownership, with collaboration across architects and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Lead the design and development of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD.
• Translate requirements into technical configurations on the platform.
• Serve as a technical lead for development teams with guidance and code reviews.
• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications using: Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Automation workflows.
• Support integration efforts with REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and third-party tools.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and platform governance.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform.
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align solutions with overall platform strategy.
• Support testing activities, including unit testing, system testing, and deployment validation.
• Contribute to documentation, including technical design documents and implementation guides.
