Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Security Operations/SecOps modules.

Senior ServiceNow Developer – Security Operations

Location: Midland, MI or Houston, TX (onsite)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong hands‑on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, integrations, automation, and Security Operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform and experience supporting cybersecurity and Security Operations use cases. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior‑level developer who can quickly contribute to an established ServiceNow development team and work closely with cybersecurity and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, customize, test, deploy, and support solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Develop custom applications, workflows, Business Rules, Scripted APIs, UI components, and automation.
• Work extensively with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, MID Server, REST/SOAP APIs, and orchestration.
• Support and develop solutions within ServiceNow Security Operations, including:
• Security Incident Response (SIR)
• Vulnerability Response (VR)
• Security Posture/Compliance (SPC)
• Operational Technology Management (OTM)
• Develop automated remediation workflows, exception management processes, security workflows, and reporting solutions.
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise security platforms such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, SailPoint, BeyondTrust, Symantec, and similar technologies.
• Work with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Asset Management, and Configuration Compliance.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
• Participate in the complete development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support stabilization of newly deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with Service Managers, Product Owners, cybersecurity teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing, and delivery activities.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
• Significant experience developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Security Operations/SecOps modules.
• Experience with SIR, Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Posture/Compliance (SPC), and/or OTM.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow integrations, including:
• REST/SOAP APIs
• Integration Hub
• MID Server
• Flow Designer
• Orchestration
• Knowledge of cybersecurity domains such as Vulnerability Management, Security Posture Management, Compliance, Risk Management, and Identity & Access Management.
• Experience with workflow automation, remediation workflows, exception management, and security reporting.
• Working knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Asset Management, and Configuration Compliance.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience integrating ServiceNow with one or more of the following:

• Microsoft Sentinel
• SailPoint
• BeyondTrust
• Symantec
• Other enterprise cybersecurity platforms

Education

• Bachelor's degree preferred/required, or
• 12 years of relevant experience, or
• Relevant military experience at or above U.S. E6, Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class, or Sergeant level.

The ideal candidate is a senior-level ServiceNow developer who combines strong ServiceNow development skills with Security Operations and cybersecurity integration experience.
