Job summary

Andela is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality applications that support business needs.

This role spans multiple ServiceNow modules, contributes to solution architecture, and enforces best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Math or related field.
• Experience with ServiceNow domain-separated instances.
• Experience with the ITSM module.
• Experience with the Project Management module.
• Experience with the HR module.
• Experience with Service Portal.
• Experience designing and implementing workflows, forms, business rules, and scripting within ServiceNow.
• Experience with ITOM modules (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management).
• Experience with App Engine.
• Experience with Glide API.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong programming principles and software design.
• Strong technical knowledge of application development, integration, databases, operating systems, and enterprise information systems.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain enterprise ServiceNow solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable applications.
• Work across multiple ServiceNow modules and contribute to solution architecture.
• Enforce best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Document development phases for future maintenance and reference.
• Troubleshoot issues identified during testing and improve quality.
• Integrate software components and assess system impacts.
• Install, configure, and verify software components.
• Develop and deploy code using automation and testing tools.
