Job summary

Calance in San Diego, CA is seeking a ServiceNow expert to design, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions for IT asset management and IT service management. You will work on CMDB design, reporting, dashboards, and integrations with enterprise systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in ServiceNow development/administration with strong scripting, workflow automation, and data management experience, and a bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT/CS/Business or related field; 5+ years in ServiceNow development/administration/IT asset management.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development, scripting, workflow automation, integrations, CMDB design and hierarchy, data management, reporting, dashboards, testing and deployment.
• Preferred experience with ITSM, ITAM, Software Asset Management, Hardware Asset Management or related applications.

Responsibilities

• Designs, configs, codes, tests, debugs, and maintains ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Develops and maintains ServiceNow capabilities for asset management, configuration management, procurement, licensing, renewals, deployment and retirement.
• Translates business/technical requirements into ServiceNow designs, CMDB models, forms, catalog items, workflows, reports and dashboards.
• Develops and maintains ServiceNow scripts, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integration components.
• Designs interfaces between ServiceNow and ERP, procurement, directory, financial and legacy systems; supports data imports/exports and transformations.
• Performs unit/system testing, deployment, post-implementation support, and release management.
