Job summary

Financial Services Company in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid) is seeking a Software Engineer for a 24-month contract. You will develop on the ServiceNow platform, work with the Third-Party Risk Management module, and collaborate with Agile teams to deliver secure, scalable software.

Responsibilities include coding, configuring, testing, reviewing, and mentoring juniors while aligning with best practices and release planning.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Software Engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform with scripting and configuration.
• Hands-on work with the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) module.
• Develop and maintain custom scoped applications.
• Code, configure, test, document software deliverables.
• Follow secure, scalable development standards and best practices.
• Work with Agile/Scrum teams on technical stories and backlog prioritization.
• Participate in code reviews, CI, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manual and automated testing to ensure quality.
• Evaluate impacts of new product releases and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mentor juniors.
• Contribute to Agentic AI use cases where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact for Software Engineering.
• Review and analyze large-scale engineering challenges and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards.
• Strategically collaborate with client personnel and product owners.
• Develop on the ServiceNow platform using configuration and scripting.
• Work on the Third Party Risk Management module.
• Contribute towards Agentic AI use cases as needed.
• Deliver code and configurations using agreed standards.
• Maintain secure, scalable solutions and manage technical debt.
• Prioritize technical stories and ensure clear backlog alignment.
• Communicate progress daily with the Scrum Master and team.
• Educate and guide less-experienced staff.
