Job summary

GCyber is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the design and development of a custom ServiceNow application integrated with an AWS-based environment.

The role requires advanced JavaScript skills, ServiceNow APIs, and hands-on experience with REST integrations, Kafka, and Elasticsearch. You will mentor other developers, establish patterns, and drive secure, scalable delivery across the stack.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
• 7+ years in software development with 4+ years in ServiceNow development.
• Proven experience designing complex custom apps.
• Advanced JavaScript and strong OO design fundamentals.
• Experience with ServiceNow Security rules, REST integrations, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of a complex custom ServiceNow application.
• Translate requirements into technical designs and tasks.
• Develop server- and client-side functionality with JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
• Design data models, security structures, workflows, and interfaces.
• Develop integrations with AWS-hosted services and external systems.
• Design REST APIs, IntegrationHub connections, and MID Server integrations.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Ensure testing, release planning, and production troubleshooting.
