Job summary

eTel is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Engineer to join our federal IT services team in Washington, DC. The role focuses on translating complex business needs into scalable ServiceNow designs across DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD environments.

You will configure, customize, and optimize modules, CMDB/CSDM data, and integrations while leveraging AI features like Now Assist to enhance automation and performance for government clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years with ServiceNow platform.
• 2+ years of Federal experience or working with government IT environments.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Experience designing scalable ServiceNow solutions and integrations.
• Proficient in configuring and customizing ServiceNow modules.
• Knowledge of platform security and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Translate enterprise business requirements into technical designs and lead deployments across DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD.

Place of Performance

Contractor may be required to travel CONUS and within the NCR during the performance of this contract to attend meetings, conferences, and training. The Contractor may be required to travel to off- site training locations and to ship training aids to these locations.

Security Clearance

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an IRS Moderate Background Investigation (MBI)/Public Trust.

Position Summary

• Must prove they can translate enterprise business requirements into technical designs and manage deployments across complex DEV/TEST/UAT/PROD environments.
• Emphasize hands-on troubleshooting of complex production issues at an enterprise scale, optimizing queries for massive databases (CMDB/CSDM), and implementing secure, AI-driven automation capabilities (like Now Assist).

Skillsets

• ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, integrations, Flow Designer/IntegrationHub, UI Builder/Workspaces, platform security, performance optimization.

Certifications (or equivalent): Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required, Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) required for applicable domains (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, HAM/SAM) preferred.
