Job summary

Equifax, Inc. seeks a Senior Architect to lead enterprise architecture initiatives, govern ServiceNow platform architecture, and design cloud-native solutions in GCP/AWS. The role blends strategic direction with hands-on design to align with business objectives.

You will partner with Engineering and SRE teams to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient systems, while driving modernization and AI-enabled workflows across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding or equivalent job experience.
• 3+ years of experience architecting and developing software in the public cloud, including 5+ years overall relevant experience.
• Experience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime to ensure objectives.
• Proficiency in languages such as Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript and/or Node.js.
• Cross-functional knowledge across systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
• Collaborate with Engineering and SREs to analyze outages and remediation steps.
• Experience with microservice patterns and CQRS.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and immutable data patterns.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling and practices.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Cloud Certifications strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design and implement smart solutions in GCP/AWS using Cloud Native capabilities.
• Establish the high-level Solution Intent for a project or problem statement.
• Define responsibilities of major components in collaboration with team members.
• Develop architecture deliverables illustrating system behavior, usage models, and cost of ownership.
• Ensure alignment with technology strategy and economical value of the project.
• Prioritize and refine work for non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical oversight to keep builds aligned with solution intent.
