Job summary

ITC Federal, LLC is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Business Analyst to lead requirements gathering and process design for federal agency clients. This role acts as backlog gatekeeper and mentors junior analysts while ensuring alignment with DoD/DHS mission goals.

The position is fully remote within the United States, with availability during East Coast business hours. Candidates must hold an active Interim Secret clearance or higher and be eligible for a final Secret clearance.

Qualifications

5+ years as a business analyst, with 3+ years on the ServiceNow platform.
Familiar with federal contracting supporting DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies.
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM plus at least one other major workflow (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, or custom applications).
Hands-on backlog management experience in Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps.
Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or similar process-mapping tools.
Demonstrated experience delivering in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

Lead client workshops to elicit, analyze, and document requirements aligned to agency goals.
Translate high-level business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specs within Agile/Scrum.
Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow out-of-the-box functionality.
Mentor junior analysts and developers on business context and best practices.
Develop process maps, workflows, and data models that visualize end-to-end service delivery.
Advise stakeholders on best practices to avoid unnecessary customizations.
Collaborate with system architects to confirm functional designs are feasible.
Ensure solution designs meet federal standards including 508 accessibility and FISMA/NIST controls.
Develop and execute UAT plans and training materials.
