Job summary
Chenega MIOS is seeking a ServiceNow Architect/SME in Springfield, VA to lead architectural design and development on the ServiceNow platform. You will drive scalable solutions, collaborate with architects and engineers, and mentor a team of developers to deliver enterprise-grade IT workflows and integrations.
The role emphasizes hands‑on development, governance, Agile ceremonies, and close partnership with product owners to translate complex requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions,
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow Platform development.
- 3+ years of experience in ITSM development.
- Experience in Agile development practices.
- ServiceNow CSA Certification (CTA preferred).
- Active Top-Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI / CI poly.
- Successfully pass background and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on development within the ServiceNow platform including scripts, business rules, UI actions, policies, workflows, and catalogs.
- Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and APIs.
- Coordinate with AI initiatives to support predictive operations and automated incident response.
- Mentor developers, ensure compliance with architecture and cybersecurity standards.
- Provide estimates and designs to support product roadmap and program execution.
