Job summary

Accenture is seeking a seasoned Technical Architect for the ServiceNow Business Group in California. You will architect end‑to‑end ServiceNow solutions, lead teams of developers, and advise executive stakeholders to align technology with business goals.

The role emphasizes governance, platform strategy, and continuous improvement of delivery methods. Travel may be required as projects scale across Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience working with ServiceNow in a Technical Architecture, Lead Engineer, or equivalent senior technical role.
• Minimum 8 years' experience driving enterprise IT transformation and platform strategy, preferably in consulting or professional services.
• Minimum 6 years' experience leading and mentoring ServiceNow Developers and/or Technical Architects.
• Minimum 6 years' hands‑on experience with architectural standards, code reviews, and platform governance.
• Minimum 6 years' experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow platform APIs.
• Experience delivering solutions in Agile delivery models.
• Three ServiceNow certifications: System Administrator/CSA, Application Developer/CAD, CIS - ITSM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Drive improvements to our implementation methodology and service offerings.
• Lead and mentor teams of ServiceNow Developers in technical management.
• Provide structured, process‑oriented leadership with clear direction.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow account teams to add value for clients.
