Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a proficient ServiceNow Platform Architect to own design, delivery, sustainability, and operational readiness of scalable enterprise solutions in a complex process domain. You will guide architecture decisions, enforce governance, and mentor teams across domains.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow architecture experience, with expertise in Business Rules, Script Includes, and ACLs, plus for at least one process area (HSRD/Source2Pay/LSD).

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on ServiceNow platform architecture/design/implementation in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, and ACLs in governed environments.
• Practical knowledge in at least one process area (HSRD/Source2Pay/LSD).
• Strong technical judgment and communication of design tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Platform architecture & delivery: own end-to-end architecture/configuration decisions; translate business needs into scalable solutions aligned to enterprise standards; configuration-first with justified customizations; create architecture/design docs and acceptance criteria.
• Platform engineering & code quality: build server-side logic (Business Rules, Script Includes) with reuse/testability; maintain performant code and automated tests; enforce patterns that protect upgradeability and reduce technical debt.
• Security, access & governance: design/maintain ACLs, role/group strategy, least-privilege access; ensure audit readiness and separation of duties; partner with security/compliance.
• Upgrade readiness & sustainability: refactor/remove risky customizations; support upgrade planning/testing/remediation.
• Domain expertise & collaboration: SME support for backlog refinement, complex incidents, and architectural guidance; mentor developers/integrators.

Required Experience & Skills

• 7+ years hands-on ServiceNow platform architecture/design/implementation (enterprise, not delegated).
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, and ACLs in governed environments.
• Practical knowledge in at least one process area (HSRD/Source2Pay/LSD).
• Strong technical judgment and communication of design tradeoffs.

Strongly Preferred

• 2+ current ServiceNow certifications (CIS ITSM/CMDB/ITOM, CAD, CSA).
• Experience planning/executing major ServiceNow upgrades and remediating upgrade issues.
