Essential Responsibilities

• Act as the go-to for current Service Technicians and report directly to the Service Manager and Community Director.
• Repair and maintain plumbing, electrical, appliance, carpentry, and painting needs of the community. On-the-job training will be provided as needed.
• Be a creative problem solver, attentive to detail, manage time well, and learn quickly.
• Respond to service requests promptly, collaborating with teammates to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Monitor apartment vacancies and initiate the turnover process with painting, cleaning, and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan and minimize costly repairs.
• Inspect the property daily for cleanliness and safety, maintaining curb appeal.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on general maintenance experience, including work orders and HVAC.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• EPA license preferred; EPA Universal or HVAC certification required. Hilltop Residential will cover the cost for certification if other requirements are met.
