Responsibilities

What You'll Do

1. Ensure the hotel’s maintenance and upkeep standards meet WL, Brand, and Guest standards.
2. Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing all aspects of the Engineering function of the hotel.
3. Follow departmental procedures for repair, maintenance, alteration, and installation work safely and neatly.
4. Provide advice and support to other engineers as needed.
5. Identify and repair all mechanical failures, including appliances, HVAC, electrical, or plumbing issues.
6. Maintain communication with supervisors to ensure availability of materials, tools, and supplies.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and operating instructions.
2. Valid driver’s license and basic knowledge of safety and security practices.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. One year of trade school or equivalent.
5. 1-3 years of technical experience, preferably in hotel or facilities maintenance. Prior experience is a plus; extensive training is provided.
6. Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally, and stand/move for long periods.
