Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Senior Service Operations Project Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional projects within the Service Operations group. You will manage initiatives from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, and business objectives.

This remote, field-based role requires strong project management and engineering background, with up to 30% travel to client sites for installation and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management or related field.
• 5–7 years of project management experience leading Service Operations projects.
• Experience with design/build, installation, commissioning of construction projects including managing site GCs.
• Background in robotic automation, ASRS, or material handling (MHE) preferred.
• Experience managing multiple projects with Service Operations collaboration from small to mid-level capital projects.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify root causes and solutions.
• Stakeholder management across clients, contractors, and engineering teams.
• Delivery on time and within budget.
• Proficient with scheduling software (Smartsheet, Jira) and earned value management.
• Remote, field-based position with up to 30% travel; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of Service Operations projects.
• Define objectives, scope, timelines, and deliverables with plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Gather requirements, provide updates, and solicit feedback on project progress; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Track progress, manage risks, and drive issue resolution to maintain timelines.
• Act as a liaison between project teams, senior management, and external partners.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, efficiency gains, and value creation across projects.
• Drive continuous improvement, capture lessons learned, and optimize processes.
• Identify risks, constraints, and dependencies and lead teams in resolution.
