Job summary

Subaru of America is seeking a senior operations leader to manage the Service Engineering Center, Remanufacturing, and Publications staff in Camden, NJ. This role ensures training, service quality, and deployment of staff to meet departmental goals.

You will define policies, oversee QA and tool programs, and collaborate with subsidiaries and retailers to improve service tooling and data accuracy while reducing warranty costs. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10–12 years of experience or more.
• Extensive automotive technical knowledge.
• Strong investigative, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
• Project management and supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with internal Subaru corporate applications (NorthStar, RPM, etc.).
• Strong team-building, leadership, and management capabilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Remanufacturing QA coordination for cost reduction.
• Oversee Service Engineering projects and tool/vendor negotiations.
• Lead SEC team and vehicle program operations, including fleet services.
• Ensure service manual data accuracy and timely updates.
• Oversee desktop publishing of Service Information and related materials.
• Collaborate with Subaru leadership to ensure readiness and advocacy.
