Job summary

IPS – Orlando Service Center is seeking a Service Manager for Power Generation to lead standby generator and power systems field operations across the Orlando territory. You will drive efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction while coordinating with technicians, managers, and support staff to meet service goals.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, team leadership, and continuous improvement in service delivery within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or five years related experience.
• Experience in generator/power generation industry.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead standby generator and power systems service operations at the branch and territory, including maintenance, testing, repairs, and emergencies.
• Develop and implement business plans to attain branch goals and service growth.
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality service while maintaining close customer contact and satisfaction.
• Direct communication with Service Project Manager, technicians, regional staff, and support staff to prioritize workflow.
• Provide weekly reports to management and escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate training and certifications for technicians and support ongoing QA initiatives.
