Job summary

Morrison Industries in Detroit, MI is seeking a full-time Service Manager to lead the service department, support customers and technicians, and ensure high quality service.

The role requires 10+ years of management experience, a degree, strong mechanical knowledge, and experience in dispatch services, with responsibilities spanning work orders, payroll, customer updates, and warranty processing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of management experience.
• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Strong mechanical knowledge.
• Experience in dispatch services.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing technician timecards and organizing weekly payroll.
• Opening, processing, and monitoring of work orders to ensure successful and efficient service.
• Proactively contacting customers to provide repair status of units.
• Debriefing with technicians at the end of each day for efficient scheduling.
• Repair estimate preparation, presentation, and processing.
• Processing of warranty claims.
• Answering phones and assisting customers with a positive attitude.
• Assisting with rental inquiries, quotations, set-up and deliveries.
• Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Additional duties as assigned.
