Job summary

Wolverine Power Systems, a leading supplier and service provider for Generac equipment, is seeking a Service Manager in Michigan. You will lead the Energy Systems service department, overseeing Field Supervisors, technicians, and EH&S while coordinating with electrical contractors and internal teams to ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management or business or equivalent years of experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 3-5 years overseeing operations in service-related environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct Field Supervisors and develop technical skills.
• Oversee technician certification programs and training compliance.
• Review weekly revenue, invoicing, KPI and EH&S requirements.
• Manage department personnel, including employment, compensation, EH&S and fleet.
• Provide timely, expert-level technical support and coordinate resources to meet customer demands.
• Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Serve as liaison for major projects, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure safety compliance and coordinate with EH&S.
• Escape escalation for complex diagnostics and warranty issues.
• Coordinate with Parts and third-party vendors to ensure material availability.
• Review and approve Timecards and PTO.
