Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Senior Service Engineering Manager to lead multiple engineering teams across LTSA and Service Operations. You will balance technical governance, risk management, and talent development while coordinating with global engineering groups.

The role demands extensive experience with turbines, generators, and associated systems, plus strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership. Travel 20–30% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Master's Degree preferred in Engineering, Engineering Management, or related field.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in turbines, generators, or related rotating equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple Service Engineering organizations through managers, team leaders, and technical specialists.
• Set engineering strategy, objectives, and priorities aligned with service operations and fleet reliability.
• Ensure 24/7 engineering support capability through staffing and succession planning.
• Mentor leaders and drive talent reviews, workforce planning, and succession programs.
• Oversee governance for evaluations, NCRs, ESRs, reliability investigations, and fleet issues.
• Collaborate with global engineering and customer-facing teams to prioritize resources.
