Job summary

Mitsubishi Power Americas is seeking a Technical Support Manager - Generator to lead engineering and field service teams, manage outages, and drive performance across the Generator Services business. You will coordinate forecasted resource needs, vendor repairs, and training while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 7+ years in related roles, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, and the ability to travel ~25%+.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of seven years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading engineering/field service teams and workforce planning.
• Ability to communicate decisively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with ERP, databases, project management tools, and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning and development activities including recruiting, onboarding, performance management, training, and talent reviews.
• Oversee generator maintenance, repair, outage, and modernization activities and provide technical leadership.
• Coordinate outages, vendor repairs, parts manufacturing, and resource forecasting.
• Establish technical standards, procedures, quality controls, and NCR resolution processes.
• Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and partners to support growth and project execution.
• Provide financial oversight including budget management, cost controls, and performance reporting.
