Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Senior Service Engineering Specialist to join our team.

This role serves as the primary contact for aftermarket technical support, warranty administration, and service inquiries, coordinating with customers, distributors, field service personnel, and internal teams to resolve issues. The ideal candidate brings strong technical troubleshooting, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple service requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Industrial Technology, or related field preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly learn WEG products and service processes.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Experience with warranty processes and customer support procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers, distributors, service centers, and end users via phone and email.
• Analyze and troubleshoot product issues and provide recommendations to resolve them.
• Evaluate warranty eligibility and process warranty-related claims.
• Coordinate field service activities and site visits with the Field Service Supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and service records in company systems.
• Escalate complex cases to supervisors or specialized resources as needed.
• Assist in training customers, service partners, and team members on product applications.
