Job summary

RESA Power in Wixom, MI is seeking a Service Branch Manager to lead day-to-day operations, develop and maintain client relationships within technical and manufacturing fields, and identify opportunities to mentor staff while implementing growth strategies. You will oversee performance, safety, and regulatory compliance while delivering reliable service.

Responsibilities include hiring and training, scheduling, preparing quotes, reviewing test reports, and ensuring profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 5 years related experience.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay testing; military training is a plus.
• Heavy industrial/utility/large commercial/renewable energy exposure.
• Must work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures.
• Flexible hours, weekends/holidays; possible out-of-town work.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Customer-focused with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of the location/department and address local business topics.
• Hire and train direct reports; conduct interviews and set development goals for staff.
• Mentor and coach technicians; audit performance and build training plans.
• Schedule work and coordinate larger jobs with other managers.
• Provide technical/practical options to customers; prepare quotes and review test reports.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships with internal/external customers and vendors.
• Review jobs to ensure profitability; work with leadership on strategic initiatives.
• Prepare a variety of reports; maintain safety records and practices.
• Adhere to safety rules and company policies; maintain NETA certification when appropriate.
