Job summary

AWS hardware Engineering is looking for a customer-obsessed, team-driven technology leader to elevate our server hardware and software. As a server performance leader, you will tackle Amazon's hardest problems, building high-quality, architecturally sound systems aligned with AWS business needs.

You will collaborate with internal and external teams to design, validate, launch, monitor and troubleshoot at scale, ensuring peak performance within thermal budgets and guiding future architectures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans and functional test procedures.
• 5+ years of experience identifying & root-causing HW/SW issues in large scale systems.
• 5+ year of experience with customer support for successive debugging/root-causing cpu performance issues.
• 5+ years of experience in cpu/memory architecture and subsystem design.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering of server hardware and software to maximize performance within thermal budgets.
• Interact with interdisciplinary teams to design, validate, launch, monitor and troubleshoot at large scale.
• Align roadmaps with CPU/GPU suppliers and influence future architectures.
