Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to drive the design, development, and validation of next-generation server boards for EC2.

You will own architecture, test plans, and collaboration across domains to deliver high-performance, cost-efficient hardware. You’ll lead cross-functional discussions with ODM partners, mentor teammates, and push for robust validation strategies while upholding AWS safety and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of new hardware products development experience.
• 5+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware design, development, and maintenance of component boards.
• Develop next-generation server hardware across domains (high-speed interconnects, multi-core processors, memory).
• Own architecture, development, validation and operations of boards.
