Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Cloud Hardware Development Engineer to architect, design, develop, and build next‑generation server and rack solutions for HWEngS Specialized Platforms and Servers.

The role focuses on delivering industry-leading performance and operational excellence across AWS infrastructure. You will work with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure high quality, scalable server solutions and drive cost efficiency, reliability, and deployment at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant technical position experience.
• 5+ years’ experience leading ODMs and other suppliers in product development and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Bring new technology to servers and scale operations for large fleets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver high-performance servers.
• Establish strategic vision and drive execution in defining and delivering new products and services.
• Lead integration and delivery of servers, and support automated monitoring and failure analysis services.
