Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Server Hardware Engineer to own the design and development of server products at scale. You will collaborate with partner teams across components, firmware, and manufacturing to architect cost-efficient solutions for AWS data centers.

The role demands leadership in design verification, manufacturing processes, and delivering high-performance hardware while maintaining reliability and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in server technologies such as thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in written and oral communication across all levels of the organization.
• 5+ years experience with design and manufacturing processes.
• 5+ years experience leading ODMs and other suppliers in product development.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead the design and development of server products with partners.
• Work with customers to understand needs and architect scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to bring servers to the data center.
• Oversee the fleet post-launch, monitor quality and customer requirements.
