Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking Cloud Hardware Development Engineers to conceive and design innovative server products. You will work with cross-disciplinary teams to drive product definition, execution, and test in a fast-paced environment.

This role involves contributing to thermal, mechanical, electrical, and reliability analyses, developing hardware qualification plans, and supporting manufacturing builds at partner sites. Expect travel to manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with hardware design and server hardware components beneficial.
• Knowledge of simulation and 3D modeling software; programming or scripting (Python, MATLAB) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of server hardware including thermal, mechanical, electrical or reliability analyses.
• Perform design simulations (thermal, structural, signal integrity, or power).
• Validate hardware and debug issues at board, system, or rack level.
• Develop automated test tools and data analysis methods.
