Job summary

Azul Hospitality is seeking an experienced Lead Server to supervise dining room operations across hotel and event settings. You will lead a team of servers, ensure exceptional guest service, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service.

The role requires a strong hospitality background, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and cleanliness. The position covers hosting, bartending, order input in Micros, and directing shift operations to deliver upscale dining

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in the food or hospitality industry.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current SERVSAFE certification or sanitation training within the past year.
• Current food handler’s card and other certifications as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a host for guests in dining rooms and at events.
• Create a warm, upscale atmosphere and supervise server staff.
• Maintain high performance standards and dining-room appearance.
• Oversee closing duties and ensure cleanliness of dining areas.
• Track inventory and assist in training staff on procedures.
• Take orders, input into Micros, handle payments and tips.
• Perform bartending duties and craft service bar drinks.
• Provide guest allergy and dietary information to kitchen staff.
• Lead FOH/BOH supervision and coordinate catering for events.
