Net2Source Inc. is seeking a Server Engineer - Lead to architect, operate, and optimize a large enterprise compute and virtualization stack across data center and hybrid cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, project management, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and infrastructure design.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, implementation, lifecycle management, and support of enterprise server infrastructure (Intel-based) and virtualization platforms (VMware/ESXi and other hypervisors).
• Manage server hardware standards, firmware, host lifecycle, infrastructure refresh, and virtualization health, performance, availability, and capacity.
• Design highly available, resilient compute platforms with disaster recovery capabilities for mission-critical workloads.
• Partner with storage, networking, backup, security, and applications teams to ensure platform reliability and performance.
• Establish standards for provisioning, patching, upgrades, configuration management, and operational consistency.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex server and virtualization issues, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Drive capacity planning, performance optimization, platform monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Automate infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, PowerCLI, PowerShell, and Python.
• Manage VMware ecosystem, including vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Aria Operations, clustering, and virtualization lifecycle management.
• Support integration with storage, backup, monitoring, containers (OpenShift/Kubernetes), and public cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Build monitoring dashboards, alerts, and reporting for infrastructure health, performance, and capacity.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, collaborate across teams, and contribute to infrastructure strategy and roadmaps.
