Job summary

Wind River Environmental is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Senior Installation Technician to provide septic system installation and repair in accordance with local codes and health department plans.

You will oversee Install Technicians, educate customers on services and finance options, and perform real estate inspections and evaluations of septic systems. A strong focus on safety and reliability is essential for this essential service provider.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of operating heavy equipment required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT drug screen, medical certification, physical, and road exams.
• Drug-free workplace and ability to meet physical demands.
• At least 1 year of CDL Class A driving experience; septic install/repair experience preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends during busy season.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the install team for optimal performance.
• Report to Operations Manager and promote WRE initiatives and culture.
• Provide leadership and discipline as needed for the install department.
• Operate excavator for septic tank and drain line installation.
• Read permits/site plans to locate septic tank and drainfield.
• Use laser level to verify tank and drainfield elevations.
• Operate skid steer to backfill, cover and grade.
• Lower septic tank into excavation with an excavator hoist.
• Direct workers in grading and prepping drainfield areas.
