Job summary

Babylist seeks a senior SEO leader to define and execute strategy for SEO, AEO, and GEO across traditional and AI-powered platforms. You will partner across Marketing, Tech, Merchandising, and Partnerships to own the organic search roadmap and KPIs such as activated registries, clicks, top-3 rankings, and AEO citation share.

Responsibilities include developing AI-driven systems, refining tracking frameworks, and publishing monthly/quarterly reviews.

Qualifications

• Deep technical SEO skills on large, complex sites.
• Experience linking AI visibility, citations, and brand search to signups and revenue.
• Hands-on experience pulling data, writing briefs, and fixing markup.
• Applied AEO or GEO experience with a track record of organic growth.

About:

• Define and execute the strategy for SEO, AEO, and GEO across traditional and AI-powered platforms.
• Work at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and structured data.
• Partner with Marketing, Tech, Merchandising, and Partnerships teams.
• Own the organic search roadmap and KPIs including SEO-driven activated registries, clicks, top-3 rankings, and AEO citation share.
• Review and optimize AEO tracking tools and frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance Google rankings across key business categories.
• Develop AI-driven systems and replace vendor tools where applicable.
• Co-own brand search strategy and attribution with Paid Search.
• Publish monthly and quarterly SEO and AEO reviews.
• Guide internal communications on SEO and AEO.
• Tie organic discoverability to business impact

Experience:

• Built and run an AEO program from first principles.
• Deep technical SEO skills on large, complex sites.
• Experience linking AI visibility, citations, and brand search to signups and revenue.
• Experience building AI-assisted workflows and systems.
• Applied AEO or GEO experience with a track record of organic growth.
• Setting content standards to drive organic traffic.
• Hands-on experience in pulling data, writing briefs, and fixing markup.
• Understanding of agentic commerce and AI assistants.

Salary and Perks:

Pay range: $143K - $191K
