Pressrun is seeking an experienced SEO leader to drive AI-driven visibility. You will craft AEO and GEO strategies, optimize both Pressrun and client content for AI-powered search, and monitor brand presence across AI answer engines.

You'll make sure Pressrun and our clients show up wherever people are asking questions — whether that's Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or whatever comes next. This is one of the most future-facing roles in marketing, and you'll help define what best practice looks like.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies
• Optimize Pressrun's own content and client content for visibility in AI-powered search results
• Monitor brand and client presence across AI answer engines and generative search surfaces
• Build measurement frameworks for AI search visibility and citation tracking
• Collaborate with editorial teams to structure content for maximum AI retrieval and citation
• Test and iterate on content formats, markup, and distribution strategies for AI surfaces
• Produce regular analysis on the evolving AI search landscape and its impact on content strategy

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in SEO or search marketing, with demonstrated expertise in AI search optimization
• Understanding of how LLMs retrieve, synthesize, and cite content
• Experience with structured data, schema markup, and technical SEO
• Analytical mindset with experience building custom measurement and tracking systems
• Strong writing and communication skills — you'll collaborate closely with editorial teams
• Self-directed and comfortable operating in a rapidly evolving field with limited playbooks

Nice to have

• Published research or thought leadership on AEO/GEO strategy
• Experience with AI tools and APIs for monitoring and optimization
• Background in content marketing or publishing
