Uviquity in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Semiconductor Process Technician to contribute to the fabrication of semiconductor devices in cleanroom environments. The role emphasizes hands-on work, owning process challenges, and following detailed instructions with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include wafer processing, documenting results, and performing inline and end-of-line inspections to support yield improvements.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree with 4+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Experience with a wide variety of semiconductor processes including lithography, etch, and deposition.
• Ability to handle small, sensitive parts in a lab environment.
• Strong documentation and communication skills in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Wafer processing on semiconductor equipment in cleanroom and research lab environments.
• Inspection and documentation of processing results (images, parameters, metrology).
• Perform process and inspection operations per written instructions from engineering staff.
• Conduct inline and end-of-line defect inspections to support yield improvements.
• Promote safe work environment and ownership of quality and continuous improvement.
